Meet our Doctors

Ocampo Eye and Skin Care Clinic is run by Dr. Pius Jonas F. Ocampo and Dr. Ann Mitzel ‘Mitz’ G. Mata-Ocampo. The clinic is located at Angeles Medical Center, Angeles City, Pampanga – one of the top hospitals in the Central Luzon Region.

Dr. Pius Ocampo

Dr. Pius Jonas F. Ocampo is an ophthalmologist specializing in the treatment of eye diseases, cataract surgery, refractive surgery, corneal transplant, and LASIK surgery. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Doctor of Medicine Degree at the University of Santo Tomas. Dr. Pius completed his Ophthalmology residency at the Eye Institute of St. Luke’s Medical Center, Quezon City, and passed his diplomate exam with flying colors. He then completed his fellowship training in external eye diseases, uveitis, and cornea at the Philippine General Hospital.

Dr. Pius has been affiliated with Angeles Medical Center, Inc. (‘AMCI’) for over eight years. His memberships include the Philippine Cornea Society, Central Luzon Society of Ophthalmology (CLSO), Philippine Academy of Ophthalmology (PAO), Angeles City Medical Society (ACMS), Philippine Medical Association, and University of Santo Tomas Medical Alumni Association (USTMAA).

Dr. Mitz Ocampo

Dr. Ann Mitzel ‘Mitz’ G. Mata-Ocampo is a dermatologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of skin, hair, and nail diseases – specifically psoriasis, allergies, and atopic dermatitis. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology and Doctor of Medicine Degree at the University of Santo Tomas, excelling academically and even obtaining a “Bene Meritus” during her revalida. Dr. Mitz graduated Cum Laude when she obtained her medical degree. She completed her internship and residency training in Dermatology at the University of Santo Tomas Hospital, and even became the Chief Resident in the department. She had further training in Louisville, Kentucky.

Dr. Mitz has been affiliated with AMIC for over eight years. She is currently an officer of the Angeles City Medical Society and is a member of the Philippine Dermatological Society.

This couple is involved in philanthropic work, regularly joining medical missions. In addition to having specializations in the eye and skin, they also help patients pursue a healthy lifestyle by incorporating health and wellness teachings in their consultations. When not at their clinics, they are hands-on parents to their three boys.
